Members teamroper55 Posted June 27, 2023 Members Report Posted June 27, 2023 What items are you working on now or planning out for the big Christmas push that you see to be trending? Do you go for volume or margin this time of year? Quote
Members Dwight Posted June 27, 2023 Members Report Posted June 27, 2023 Personally . . . not working on "items" per se . . . Working on improving my processes and skills (summer is a low time for me usually) . . . and trying new "things". Got a laser engraver for instance . . . already have two jobs to do with it . . . still learning how to get it to work on those jobs. Couple of years ago . . . bit the bullet on a new sewing machine . . . it has made life a whole bunch better. Used the down time to learn how to make it tick. May God bless, Dwight Quote
Contributing Member fredk Posted June 27, 2023 Contributing Member Report Posted June 27, 2023 I should have started on some special little sewing accessory pouches as gifts for the ladies in my Knit & Natter group A simple pouch to hold three (supplied) items; a pair of snips, a tape measure and a thread cutter. With a fold-over flap with 'K&N 2023' stamped on it. I need to do 16 or 18, all the same-ish. And one variation with a few small tools in one for the other man in the group I think I'll glue up a couple of frames for setting the spacing on the pouch pockets et cetera Quote
