Hello all!

I'm making a costral/canteen for my wife and I'm looking at sealing it with melted beeswax (5oz veg tan) after wet-forming.  Will acrylic paint adhere to waxed veg tan after it's sealed?  I use Angelus leather paint.

Cheers in advance

No. You'd be best painting the details first and waxing over them and the rest of the vessel

waxing/sealing should be the very last step

paint will not adhere well to a waxed surface - of any kind... wood, leather, metal..

Not much will stick to a waxed surface (in fact, I don't know anything that will).
