First try at a sheath.

Im a new leather crafter,been dabbling in it for about 6 months.Here is my first try at a sheath for a friends caliper.

I appreciate this site and the wealth of knowledge in here.

Beautiful work, especially the fish scale style tooling. 

I'm laughing at the notion of my local engineer wearing his caliper low slung on his hip, gunfighter style, ready to put any comer in his place with super accurate measurement of a critical dimension. Of course, he'd need a hammer thong fast-draw holster, not a traditional flap holster, for that purpose. Does paint a vivid mental image though!
