Groomsmen and Bridesmaid's Bags

Recommended Posts

My Daughter got married a couple of weeks ago, I volunteered to make the Groomsmen and Bridemaids gifts for them. They bought some grooming and beauty items to put in them.
They were well received.

Hand stitched (got new calluses to prove it), Mens bags and zipper border on women's were also dyed, both lined. New zipper skills learned, as they were cut from zipper chain and zipper slide added.
I liked how they turned out.AC905D08-BE5F-4A67-AA3B-D7F06DE916F2.jpeg.965c1df45d89fdfea7e996081e345cd2.jpeg

Those are fantastic!  Love the colors.  They must have been thrilled with the gift.

They sent me some great photos when they presented them with the bags. Couple thanked me as they will replace the ziplock bags the have been using.

Far better than a Ziploc bag.  Now I've got the itch to make myself a better bag.  Might require I learn how to install zippers and fashion something like a hanging hook for a hanging toiletry bag.  Or just a dopp bag.

Those are very nice!
Replicating the same item many times, and having them all look the same,  is quite the skill!

Found that it is not as hard as it looks, fiddly at first, but it works out.

Beautiful gifts! Quite a step above ziplocks. I can imagine how pleased they were all for those.

Thanks
