Thanks for your help. I've found a home for this stuff.
I've had this old tack hardware for ages. I know nothing about making tack and will never use any of it. Is this anything someone can use?20231216_202802.thumb.jpg.cd2a0bc0a3d9b33bc00d41c0efbc7672.jpg

I'd like to find it a new home. It belonged to a guy who was in the Cavalry in WWII.

 same here

Quite often , people would give me old tack, and I also used to attend horse auctions, for the old saddlery, tack , rugs etc. . A lot  is used  as a ' rustic ' display in my workshop, but I sometimes need  the occasional buckle for repairs etc.  The old hardware does come in handy . It can also be a trip down ' history lane' .
