Ferdco Pro 440r threading - manual’s diagram no help

The manual diagram/explanation is useless. Can’t find YouTube video. Can anyone help me?

I am having trouble getting my Ferdco 440r Pro threaded. The manual diagram is useless. 
I think the incorrect threading is causing the machine to skip stitches. I changed to a new needle, adjusted tension upper and lower.

If I'm not mistaken the Ferdco 440 R is a GA5-1 or GA5-1R if it has reverse should be the same for threading.

Here's a Singer manual.You need to go around the tension on the side 1 & 1/2 times so the thread can grip the tension pulley.

Thanks! The GA5-1R looks exactly my Ferdco 440r. The only difference I see is that the 440r directions and Cowboy Bob say to go around the tension wheel 1-1/2 times. I don’ t see that in the video? I’ll go back and try both ways.
