Contributing Member fredk Posted February 13, 2024 Contributing Member Report Posted February 13, 2024 I'm putting together some items for no.1 dottir's archaeology kit I'm way out of practice. The stitching on this is terra-buble but here it is anyway And with what goes in it It doesn't look so very bad in the hand This started out 'a bit of leather folded over . . . ' and it got more elaborate as time went on Next are some tool rolls for small scrapers and brushes, and a case for a magnifying glass Quote
Members DieselTech Posted February 13, 2024 Members Report Posted February 13, 2024 Looks great to me. Plus it serves a good job of protecting the hand trowel. Nice work. What dye did you use if you dont mind telling? Thanks. Quote
Contributing Member fredk Posted February 13, 2024 Author Contributing Member Report Posted February 13, 2024 I used LCD Saddle Tan oil dye then Eco-flo Dark Brown antique Quote
Members SUP Posted February 13, 2024 Members Report Posted February 13, 2024 It looks fine. It is well designed and covers the trowel well. If your daughter is working in an area with red soil though, it might get a bit hidden. Quote

Members MarshalWill Posted February 13, 2024 Members Report Posted February 13, 2024 That looks good. It should protect that trowel for many years. Looking forward to your other projects when you get to them. Quote
