Hags Report post Posted March 4 I play golf, so when Don Gonzales came up with this pattern, I had to try it. I made a couple of changes, I used a strap instead of a clip to better go around a push cart frame, and opened up the bottom to make squeezing a ball out easier. Go easy on my tooling, still learning that part.
Simplejack1985 Report post Posted March 4 Nice work. I don't golf but I've wanted to make one.
DieselTech Report post Posted March 5 Looks good. Great work. Does that hold 3balls? & where do you strap it? Thanks.
Hags Report post Posted March 5 The pattern calls for a snap. This, IMHO, limits where you can attach it. The strap allows you to go around the tubing of a push cart that carries your bag. You can still attach it to your bag if you want. It holds 4 balls. Thanks for the kind words. Also, opening the bottom allows the balls to come out much easier. Hags Report post Posted March 5 Yes, you can squeeze a ball out of the bottom. It originally was a straight slot, but that took a lot of pressure to pop a ball out. I took a large corner punch and opened it up to make it easier.
