Northmount Report post Posted March 16 These snaps have been around for a long, long, time. They were most often used by home seamstresses on home made clothing. I remember them from well over 70 years ago. Once in a while, one might come apart, but it was due to faulty setting, a little crooked, or misaligned so a couple prongs missed being seated in the mating ring.
