Bert03241 Report post Posted April 26 I dont see a wayg to sew them on so it works I took one and cut the flaps off and just glued directly to leather. But not sure if the glue is enough and will hold up over time.
Bert03241 Report post Posted April 26 sure you can pull tabs to outside but that doubles the with of the wallet.
GatoGordo Report post Posted April 26 Bend the tabs in their middles and stitch the outside of the tabs to your leather case so they are the same width as the insert body. This will create an extra slot at each end of the insert the same width as the other slots that also expand.
Bert03241 Report post Posted April 26 (edited) that would work but it would look crappy Edited April 26 by Bert03241
Wepster Report post Posted April 26 Should there be a pocket (or two, or a couple of straps) for the tabs to go into? Or, glue as suggested, then glue +/or stitch a thin leather piece (match or contrast, or a lining of some sort) over where the flaps are glued to cover that area, and it would as suggested above, create another pocket at each end.
