Adding a servo to my Singer 211g166

I'm looking for a few opinions on adding a servo to my Singer 211g. I've pretty much decided on the Consew setup on Amazon. The reviews are much better than the generic Chinese motors. Plus I like the lever being separate from the controller. 

My question is 1hp or 3/4hp. Is there a big difference when sewing leather? Maybe up to 7/8 oz total.  I will mostly be sewing lighter weights of leather and upholstery

Since the 211G probably doesn't have any more presser foot clearance than my 111Ws, I'd think the 3/4 would be enough. I have a 3/4 servo and 3/8" clearance under the presser foot.  5/16" (20 oz) fits easily. With the (torque increasing) speed reducer, it will run slowly through veg tan.

That said, I have a 111W set up with the same servo and NO speed reducer. It struggles sometimes.

(EDIT: 20 ounces seems like a lot as I'm typing it for some reason - But I've measured the total clearance when I worked on the machine and I've stuffed it damn near full plenty of times. I'll verify it next time I sit down at it. If I've got something wrong, I'll post a follow up.)

I would go with the 750W motors. Having more power cannot be wrong.

550w will be more than adequate for that machine, but having said that often the 750w don't cost much more (and bigger is always better ).

Thank you! I do use a speed reducer now on my old clutch motor. I slowed it considerably but I don't get the control I'd like with the clutch. 

I also, sometimes, subscribe to bigger is better.

I think you'll find that a 550w with a speed reducer will be more than adequate for that machine.
