Members JDFred Posted March 22 Members Report Posted March 22 I just finished this purse for my mother in law. It’s hand sewn with a hair on inlay. Thanks to everyone on the critique side of this forum for the help with the acorns and oak leaves, I hope I did it justice. Let me know what you think and where I can do better. Quote

Thank you, learn to use a straight edge with my swivel knife made that quilting a lot easier. Quote

I apologize for sounding rude in my original reply to you I meant to say “I learned to use a straight edge…” my thoughts and my typing weren’t working together. 55 minutes ago, Bob Blea said: Nice work! Been there and done that, and I wasn't offended. I knew what you meant, thus my answer saying that I did the same thing on my larger projects. I have a build along post here on the sight for a Knife Display Case where I combined my Woodworking, Leather Work, and Knife Making hobbies all into one, making the knife display case, tooling a leather background, and then displaying all the knives I hadn't passed to friends and family in the case. The tooling for that project took something like a week, and I used my 60" ruler to cut in the lines on that Qullted pattern and the borders. Quote

It turned out beautifully. Quote
