I was stitching a project had been stitching for last hour and all of the studded my needle just wouldn’t go through the project. It would go down to the leather at the start then just stop. I’m so confused on what to do. Any advice or help is appreciated! I have a cobra class 4.

How thick of leather were you stitching? Sounds like you may have a little raw hide in the middle of your leather, if it was a thicker leather.

The needle might be deflecting/flexing & is hitting the side of the throat plate.

But usually when this happens it shatters the needle.

Moved your post to leather sewing machines.  Have you figured out the problem or do you need more input?
