Members Randy Cornelius Posted yesterday at 02:08 PM Members Report Posted yesterday at 02:08 PM I have been asked to make the holster in the attached picture. But I am not sure where to get the larger silver looking swivel. I know this is an old style Law Enforcement holster used back in the early 60-80's So I am not sure if it's even available anymore. Any help would be appreciated. Quote Randy Cornelius Cornelius Saddlery LaCygne, Kansas Randy & Riley Cornelius Ride Hard, Shoot Fast and Always Tell the Truth...
wizard of tragacanth Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago Check e-bay. Years ago a forum member found one there. That's the only idea that I have. Quote Nick
Members HandyDave Posted 13 hours ago Members Report Posted 13 hours ago Some type of Chicago screw with female post long enough to set through both pieces of leather without screw tightening down and binding. That will allow the piece to swivel. It's how I do my attachments on shoulder holsters and similar so pieces can pivot and move a bit. Quote
Contributing Member fredk Posted 12 hours ago Contributing Member Report Posted 12 hours ago Thats a clever idea May I add; just an idea, punch a hole larger than needed and fit a sail eyelet for the C/S to bear on rather than the leather Quote Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
CFM chuck123wapati Posted 1 hour ago CFM Report Posted 1 hour ago I have used copper rivets for swivels. solder a cap/concho of your choice on and use a larger washer on the back side.
