My work hat had a cloth camo band, it needed leather. The hat is beat, kinda like putting fancy rims on a Pinto.

Hats don't get broke in until  they look 20 years old :spoton:

Nice hat band.

Some of us are old enough to know what a Pinto is - and still others will admit to having driven one.  Scary thought.

Thank you, drove a hand me down orange pinto station wagon. Had to keep reving it when stopped or it would stall, plus the rear quarter was smashed up. Made a Chovet look pretty.

Yeah one thats not tight, and all you hear is sheat metal vibrating on bass notes. lol

That is as good as a new hat and maybe better. I agree with the commenter who suggested aging the piece, but I don't know how one does that the fast way. I've aged a few things the normal way :)

 

For instance, MY pinto has been aged-out for decades. Before that, it had a CB radio in it, AND a tape deck!!
