Really trying to get better at making holsters, this is my fourth and I think I'm starting to finally be happy with the results.

The coloring is intentional with the slight fade, airbrushing the dye on has made it much easier to achieve. I do leave the liner natural other than a resolene coating.

Thats a good holster!

Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms.

“I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a hand on. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” THE DUKE!

I can't believe how simple the design looks, but how awesome it turned out.  Thanks for sharing!  My 1911 is too big to carry, but maybe I'll try this out for the range.  Did you burnish or paint the edges?  Is that veg tan both liner and outside?

I burnished the edges with tokenole. And yeah it's veg tan for the liner as well. Two 4 oz pieces back to back. With the reinforcement piece being 8 oz off a random leftover I had. I got the pattern from Springfield leather Co in one of their packs.
