Members stampingdelight Posted February 21 Members Report Posted February 21 ok I take it that any leather conditioner will clean the leather & they should help restore oils lost over time. was just looking to get some and never new so many where around so thought to see if all should be about the same if made for leather. Members DoogMeister Posted February 21 Members Report Posted February 21 There are bound to be as many opinions to this as there are responders. My preference is Feibing's 4-way care. Easy to use, predictable results, and it is available at a decent price. Quote
CFM chuck123wapati Posted February 22 CFM Report Posted February 22 I use mostly Fiebing golden mink oil nowadays, it's good as any I've tried and is local. All my stuff is for outdoor use, so it needs some water resistance, so I use mainly boot/shoe waterproofing-type dressings. Think about the environment you plan on using your leather in; what's good for me may not be right for you. Most all of them are made from the same basic ingredients, oils, greases, and waxes of all types are used in the concoctions. AlZilla Posted February 23 Report Posted February 23 Get a few. Early on I happened into Black Rock's Leather N' Rich and it's pretty much all I use. Once a year or so and rain just beads up and rolls off. Though I managed to accumulate at least a half dozen other products along the way, the Leather N' Rich is the stuff.
