Here is a holster packed and ready to be shipped out to an officer coming back from Iraq in a couple of weeks. He ordered so it wold be there when he got home. It's for a full size railed 1911. I had fun with this one as the outcome reminds me of a fossil. The black is dye, not paint, which made it stand out.

Wow! This is really nice. I'm sure the customer will like it. It's a shame to make it so nice and then stick in your pants.

Excellent work! I love that background tool. It is my favorite. Nice application using the dye instead of paint!

Excellent stuff, I agree with fossil tendencies but that's just adding to cool here!

I was just commenting Don's nice classic holsters so this was very nice contrast to that. Couldn't choose from either one if a had to pick a favourite.

nice airbrish work on the edge and i love the black

dragon, with the red/orange sunburst background color - very rich looking

Greatlooking holster. I agree with some of the other posts. To nice to hide. Great job coloring. What weight leather are you using?
