i was checking out the wonderful work on the art-goldberg site and found this bracelet, but it doesnt appear to have a join???

They could have used a lap skive at the joint. That would virtually disappear.

the ends were skived down and joined. look in the lower right area and you can just make out the line.

Hi Roo,

Look at about 5:30 on the piece, the leather edge looks a little thicker and where the seam probably is, it is hidden (both sides, artfully) from the camera. Otherwise it is magic.

Or at about the 7:40 position. there is a diagonal mark, lighter in color than the rest, possibly a lap joint, as Marlon speculated

I'd speculate on a lapped join cut at a diagonal so there's no 'line' across the leather.

I think I see something at the red arrow that looks like a possible joint.

Actually after reading the other posts and looking a t the pics again I can see the diagonal line too

Naw, I think it's from the ankle of the poor cow...cut like a sleeve.... Then peeled off..... Worked while wrapped around a beer bottle....Yeah, that's it... ;)
