Dually and DJ1935, in an ideal world those trucks of yours would be the ones for me. Classic lines and stacks of functionality... But I confess, the days when I was prepared to deal with a vehicle that could be temperamental are long gone. I need one to start first time every time and over here that precludes anything older than about five years. I use it to pull my horse trailer and pick up grain, hay, bedding, fence posts, etc. I also have it outfitted with a 9' Western snow plow. Don't know how I would get along without it. This is my warhorse, an immortal old Nissan King Cab, 4WD, V6 engine, 1990, (Found out that the "japanese" V6 powered Nissan trucks are built in the US of A!) The engine is not original, it was retired at 320 000 kilometers and replaced with a newer, used engine from a crashed truck. The truck has run more than 12 turns around the world ! 490 000 kilometers (304 471 884 miles) by now and it is not showing any sign of age fatigue or rust so far. It is like having an old dog, you can´t just sell it, it is a member of the family! Tweaked a little, K&N air system, Flow Master 3" cat-back duals out the back. Oh, and the sticker I always see people pointing at in my mirror.... hidepounder Report post Posted March 5, 2009 It's been kind of fun seeing what everyone else is driving. Here's mine...it's a 2000 F350 deisel. We use it to haul a three horse living quarters trailer around to ropings and horse shows. I've started to sell it on a couple of occasions to get into a newer model, however it pulls so well and we've never had a problem with it, so now, considering the economy, I think I'll just put another 100K on it and save the money! It is a 1951 Ford F-1, been working off/on for about three years when its not deer season or another hobby like leather comes along. Do all of the work myself in my own little shop. Think I must have this sickness that won't allow me to pay others for what I can learn, crazy right. I will try to get a more recent picture of it posted today. Anyways here she is.... freak Report post Posted March 7, 2009 Well i had this I sold it to a bunch of hillbillies who ended up doing this to it.. I later found out they stole the tires from.. Then i upgraded and went out and bought me this.. Really though i just drive a reg. ole white 99' supercab f250 i bought back in 98'. And we have a 02' supercab white ranger.
