Members rookie Posted March 6, 2009 Members Report Posted March 6, 2009 Does anyone have any suggestions for a reliable source for frog skins? I am going to use them as inserts for my leather projects. Quote "Courage is being scared to death - and saddling up anyway."

Members Handstitched Posted March 11, 2009 Members Report Posted March 11, 2009 G'Day from West Australia, I sell 'Cane Toad Products' ( I don't make these) These are wallets, bags , purses etc. made from Cane Toad Skins,( a very very destructive pest here in Oz) and I get them from a supplier called 'Marino Leather Exports' in Cairns , Queensland, Australia ( they're very helpful too, they also sell just the skins and in different colours other than the natural colour. They export all over the world. google 'toad factory' or 'marino leather exports'. Buy as many as you can , you'll be doing us a favour. Hope this helps. Members JakeOz Posted March 23, 2009 Members Report Posted March 23, 2009 Get them from Marino. There are 2 good uses for cane toads. 1. Play golf with them 2. Make skins out of 'em. Another is run over as many as you can when it rains (maybe not as much as it did just recently), but anything to kill the dang things off. It would do our economy some good as well and the way our dollar is at the moment, you would be getting a bargain Regards Quote When we were younger, the days seemed to drag.
