BOOMSTICKHolsters Report post Posted March 7, 2008 Nice work! I bet that was a lot of fun. How did you like the artisan machines? If you don't mind telling us, how did he have you finish your edges at the class?
skipj Report post Posted March 7, 2008 I liked the machines so much I bought one. Yes we finished the edges, I'm not sure what you meant about finishing. We used edge cote after burnishing them. SkipJ

John D Dennehy Report post Posted March 10, 2008 Very nice looking Buscadero Rig! Did you machine or hand stitch the bullet loops? John D
Srigs Report post Posted March 11, 2008 If I made a gun rig like that I would need a pair of SA to go with it. The check book is saying NO! Nice rig... how does it fit and feel on?
skipj Report post Posted March 12, 2008 Very nice looking Buscadero Rig! Did you machine or hand stitch the bullet loops? John D Mine is machine stitched. We had but 3 days to finish the project and all but one student used machine. I didn't do the stitching because I've never used a machine before and no one else would have had time to do theirs if I tried to learn. I bought a Artisan at the show so I can practice to my hearts content. Thanks for the kind words everyone. SkipJ
skipj Report post Posted March 12, 2008 If I made a gun rig like that I would need a pair of SA to go with it. The check book is saying NO!Nice rig... how does it fit and feel on? I make it for my Wife so it would be a terrible fit for me. She loves it. We measured her in class for it so it's a custom fit she says it's perfect. yaklady Report post Posted March 17, 2008 That's pretty darn nice! I wish I could have taken that class. What all did you learn? (Perhaps that question will take you all day to answer!) Kathy
skipj Report post Posted March 22, 2008 We did learn a lot in 3 days; there is a great description on the class here: http://pslac.org/public/04_apr08.pdf Thats the rawhide journal of the PSLAC, they had three members repeating the class, great people and very talented. I'll post my thoughts on the class as soon a I can. SkipJ
