Wow, Tina. You're showing your dark side again. I like it! How is it to work with snake skin? I have a rattlesnake skin I've been meaning to use. Quote

I did glue it ontop of another more sturdy leather and I'm sure I made a bunch of errors...You learn as you go along:-) Quote "He who works with his hands is a laborer. MADMAX22 Posted July 4, 2009 Report Posted July 4, 2009 Very cool all of it. Great use of the rattlesnake skin. One question, is the skulls stitched to the front or are they glued, just wondering. Quote

Just glued (and keeping my fingers crossed)...It seams to be rather sturdy, I have tried to manipulate it and with normal use it should hold up just fine. real nice tina!!i like every bit of it!! nice detail and color on the skulls Great Thanks:-) I like trying to keep it true to nature if possible. Contributing Member ClayB Posted July 4, 2009 Contributing Member Report Posted July 4, 2009 Hi Tina, You did a great job on the details in all of this, makes it kind of...... creepy! I like most all the animals we have around here, but rattlesnakes I have just never gotten used to. The snake skin makes a great background for the carving. I also really like the viney border you used on the back. Another really neat notebook. Quote ClayB Badlands Leather Art blog Badlands Leather Art Website
