rickybobby Report post Posted August 9, 2009 (edited) I use these when I need to make a 1/2 punch for scallops. Not real good quality but they are cheap. Save yourself a few bucks and get the Harbor Freight punches, a couple less punches but only $4.99 http://www.harborfreight.com search punches Rick J. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/disp...Itemnumber=3838</IMG> 9 Piece Hollow Punch Set Central Forge 3838-7VGA $4.99 Edited August 9, 2009 by rickybobby
Windom Leather Report post Posted August 9, 2009 I too bought a set back when I knew less than I do now. They just sit in a drawer. They really don't do well on leather and not the best quality. I would rather spend the money on a quality set of punches than spend the time it would take to make those serviceable. Unless I need a half punch then they get the grinder. nobearsyet Report post Posted August 10, 2009 OK, these punches are junk, gotcha, won't buy them. I am in need of a new set so I thought maybe somebody on here might have tried them, you'd be surprised, there is some good stuff floating around ebay for discount pricing.
