MADMAX22 Report post Posted August 22, 2009 Thats some good looking stuff Rawhide. Not sure of anything I could critique on it. The only thing Im not sure if I like is the red border. But thats more personal preference rather then something that is artistically incorrect or however you would say. The leather work is outstanding though. Rawhide Report post Posted August 23, 2009 Amazing! How long did it take to make that? The tooling didn't take very long, maybe 3 to 4 hours. The embossing took about an hour and the dying/painting another couple of hours. Thats some good looking stuff Rawhide. Not sure of anything I could critique on it. The only thing Im not sure if I like is the red border. But thats more personal preference rather then something that is artistically incorrect or however you would say. The leather work is outstanding though. The red border actually matched the walls of the house it was to be displayed in, so hence the reason for it. I sort of liked it, but it really brought it home when put next to the wall. Marlon, Beautiful work! I didn't know you did figure carving! Good job. Bobby Well Bob, I can't seem to get the western floral like yours, so I figure I'd better quit while I'm ahead and try something I actually have a shot at! Thanks for the complements everyone, it means a lot to me.
