Members iwannabeacowboy Posted September 2, 2009 Members Report Posted September 2, 2009 I've noticed some people are posting pictures that are so big you have to scroll to see all of it. Isn't there a limit on size? Charlie Quote
Timd Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Before the upgrade, the pics would resize themselves to fit my screen. Any chance of that happening again? Quote
Members dbusarow Posted September 2, 2009 Members Report Posted September 2, 2009 Before the upgrade, the pics would resize themselves to fit my screen. Any chance of that happening again? I'll second that. Lightbox is nice for some things but I'm not sure the images included with posts is one of them. Most of the pictures included in posts here are very large so that we can show/see detail. I think the old behaviour of opening a new window for the image was a lot easier to use. Just MHO and you know what that's worth Dan Quote
Members Double U Leather Posted September 2, 2009 Members Report Posted September 2, 2009 I have to agree on that also. I posted a pic of a project the other day...did it the same as before.....and poof!!! This sucker was gigantic. Maybe with the new system, we have to upload differently. I liked the pictures the old way better. There's my .03 cents (factoring in the economic stimulus that we should all be getting soon). Quote
Moderator Johanna Posted September 2, 2009 Moderator Report Posted September 2, 2009 I'm working on it, guys. There are a zillion settings in the software, and none are where you would expect to find them. We'll get it back to "normal", in the meantime, try to upload pics under 1000K (1 MB) and we should be okay. Johanna Quote
Timd Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 Johanna, let me just say, YOU ROCK!!!!!!! Quote
Members flyingcuda Posted September 7, 2009 Members Report Posted September 7, 2009 when i tried to upload my 1mb picture, i could not get it to upload at all. resized the original to 568kb and was successful but is still a very large picture, so 300kb may be optimal. p.s. thanks to admin that tried to help me last night !
