Anyone using a small airbrush spray booth? I'd like to know about how much draw there is in a "real" spraybooth. I want to make a simple spray booth and happen to have a working kitchen exhaust fan unit. Is the draw similar to a kitchen exhaust fan?

Thanks,

Regis

Regis, I'm not using a booth, but I believe simple physics would dictate that if your air brush is putting out 1 cfm and your hood fan is doing the same, all will work good.

Regis,

BE CAREFUL about the fan you use....the fumes going through this fan could be flamable...you don't want an electrical spark in a spray booth fan....You need a totally sealed motor.

You can get spark proof fans at most restaurant supply outfits.
