Members TroyS Posted June 29, 2010 Members Report Posted June 29, 2010 Hey all, Another post in creating this monster. My hands feel like I'll never lace again. This seat is big awkward and heavy. But I'm coming down the home stretch and hope to finish it this week. Alex, I think I'd reconsider that sale you mentioned.... If you have any questions, just ask, it'll be much cheaper! Dave Theobald Unbelievable! Incredible work Dave! You are my idol! Quote Troy

David Posted June 30, 2010 Author Report Posted June 30, 2010 So impressive...what color are you going to dye it?? or not?? Hey Roo, Thanks for checking it out. The bike is all black. So I'll recommend a black to tan to the customer Dave Theobald Quote
David Posted July 2, 2010 Author Report Posted July 2, 2010 The customer wanted a dark to light tan fade. He stated he likes the look of a well tooled saddle. I'm hoping this works for him. I know I like it. Dave Quote
Contributing Member Crystal Posted July 2, 2010 Contributing Member Report Posted July 2, 2010 I like it, too, David. Loved the story with this seat and I think you put everything together very nicely. Crystal Quote Black Dog Custom Leather
Members CitizenKate Posted July 2, 2010 Members Report Posted July 2, 2010 Wow... so, so nice, as always, but this one is special. Love the story behind it. Is there a chance you'll get to show a photo of the seat on the bike it's made for? Kate Quote

He's in law enforcement, so we hit it off really good, I'm hoping he'll send me some pictures when he finally has it on the bike. We'll see. Dave Quote
