I've been trying to find me a supplier. I use McMaster.com for nails but they don't carry what i need.

I think I found what I'm looking for. They're called brass canoe tacks. By the way I really like your knives. Have you ever made any round knives? Do you use Damascus steel?

I've purchased brass oval head tacks from panhandle leather.
