Where'd the "Fast Reply" button go?

Just wondering why all of a sudden the Fast reply button has disappeared.

I've been wondering the same thing. But it only disappears sometimes. I am using it right now. Sometimes here. Sometimes not. Computer people???????

I've removed "fast reply" from about half of the board. I had several people report they typed out wise and witty remarks, only to have FR vanish before they could click submit. Don't know why. The missing FR is part of a top secret investigative mission- please do not adjust your set (or remove your hat!)

Even when the FR dissapeared all you had to do was re-hit the button and it would come right back up, and all the text you had entered was still there.

And the hat was welded to my head by a good welder buddy.....no worries there.

Like Ken said, when the fast reply disappears, if you click on the button (sometimes I have to click it several times) it will come back and all you had typed is stilll there. On my computer, it's still faster to do it that way than to wait several minutes for the regular reply screen to come up.

I met a lady who had had a major accident and now has a metal plate for a forehead. She talked about her neices and nephews having fun sticking fridge magnets to her face...

Denise, I'll let you guys decide about my head, I remember the last time the tin foil hat left my head, we're still feeling the aftershocks of that escapade.

And Johanna would drive to the US/Canada boarder and throw rocks at us if I took the hat off again.

My fast reply hasn't stopped working as far as I can tell. Of course, I've been offline for a day or three, but even before that, I haven't had any problems with it. I wonder if it's a Vista thing....I'm running XP most of the time, or Linux, and have no issuse at all in IE7 or Firefox.

Oh, and Beave....yes...please, do leave the hat where it's at.

I think the fast reply disapears when someone else posts before you submit your FR..... just guessing....

But I wondered about it too... and i had the setting in my control panel to always have it open... so all I had to do was type in the already open box, and hit enter... now I have to hit other stuff.... too exhausting....
