LNLeather Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 (edited) So Sorry..... I didn't know Drac, but this poem always always brings a sad peace to my heart in times like this... A POEM FOR THE GRIEVING... Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die... ...rest in peace, Drac Edited November 3, 2010 by LNLeather Quote ~Cheryl There are many things in life that will catch your eye, but only a few will catch your heart... pursue those...
Contributing Member ClayB Posted November 3, 2010 Contributing Member Report Posted November 3, 2010 I didn't have the chance to meet Drac in person either. I can't even remember if I ever corresponded with him personally on the forum. But through his posts, I felt like I knew him a little, and I think I would have liked him if we'd have had the chance to meet. Looking back, it seems like he did reach out to all of us here a while back, and I am saddened that I didn't take a couple minutes out of my life to say "hey freind, I'm thinking about you". Maybe it wouldn't have made any difference, but then again, maybe it could have. We've lost a member of our family here on LW and he will be missed. I pray that Drac is in a better place now and that he has found the peace he was searching for. Quote ClayB Badlands Leather Art blog Badlands Leather Art Website
Members wildrose Posted November 3, 2010 Members Report Posted November 3, 2010 I've not been on the board in a few days. I am heartbroken to read this. His family and friends are certainly in my prayers. Quote Holly Moore Wild Rose Creations http://www.wrcleather.com

Pip Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 I am in shock! not been here for a while. I never know what to say but... I remember kind words and support from Drac to many of us here. My thoughts go out to everyone touched by this sad event. I would like to propose a toast to celebrate, all the positive things that Drac has left us with, all the help, support, laughs and friendship "absent friends, lost... but not forgotten." Be at peace, Drac. Quote

I am trying to find out more but Ben is trying to work things out with the family and all to get this all handled so I will try to let you know where to send condolences and flowers...etc...
