Moderator bruce johnson Posted February 15, 2011 Moderator Report Posted February 15, 2011 It's been a while since I posted anything, but here's some of a batch of spur straps I just finished up. The oak pattern is a new one for me. It kind of has a softer look than some, my wife has already claimed a set. There is also a new style for me. This guy ordered a set that is a variation of the rough stock spur leathers that double through a ring and buckle back. I did a running vine kind of pattern on them. They were fun to do. Quote
Members tg lucas Posted February 15, 2011 Members Report Posted February 15, 2011 those are really cool, the oak leaves are my favorite Quote
Members HanginH Posted February 15, 2011 Members Report Posted February 15, 2011 They look great Bruce! The tooling and craftmanship are great as always. Thanks for posting them. Justin Quote
Members mcn Posted April 19, 2011 Members Report Posted April 19, 2011 Very nice. Did you make the oak leave pattern your self? Quote
Moderator bruce johnson Posted April 19, 2011 Author Moderator Report Posted April 19, 2011 Thanks. Yes, this is a pattern I came up with. I kind of like the rounded up leaves a little more than point and scallop oakleaves for this kind of thing. They fill a little more space and have a different look. Quote
King's X Posted April 19, 2011 Report Posted April 19, 2011 Very nice Bruce! My favorite are the basketweave straps. Quote

Thor Posted August 21, 2015 Report Posted August 21, 2015 When it comes to tack I'm a friend of plain and practical, therefore I prefer the last ones. Is that a 3/4" strap? Quote
