JLSleather Report post Posted April 22, 2011 3/4 oz carving back, 1-1/2-2 oz goat liner. Very tough, luxurious feel, yet thin. Thanks! hello guys, i use 7oz for the check book cover and 2 to3 oz for the interior. if you dont want to make the interior springfield leather sell's premade interior that look real nice, i personally build all my interior but i have seen their interior's and they are pretty nice and easy to use hope this helps john Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
