Newbie here... and haven't been pounding hide but maybe 6 months. Ordered a starter kit, did the usual checkbook cover, billfold, key fob etc... Started working on my own projects.

Still just tinkering around, not selling anything as of yet, but once I feel that what I make is good enough to sell, I will.

Here's a few things I've done...

Holster for my .44 Mag.

More than likely I'll post up my future work on this same thread.

Excellent workmanship on all the items.

Thank you.

Did you hand-stitch those items or use a machine? If it's a machine, which one?

Your tooling is superb!

Everything was hand stitched. Thanks!

If you've only been tooling and doing leatherwork for 6 mos. you are really making huge progress! Your work and tooling is really "clean," looking which is something that really takes a long time to achieve! From all the items you made, it's obvious you've really been working hard at it and it shows in the quality of your work. Keep it up!

I think I got that from Hidecrafters... And yes, it's gotten off track a time or two... I need to find a "GOOD" one.
