Jimbob Report post Posted October 28, 2011 Ohhhhhh my!!!!! What a difference!!! Ohhhhh my, what a friendly voice on the phone!!!! Ohhhh my, what a joy to order!!! Ohhhh my, how much I hate my self not to have dealt with them in the very first place!! Boy was this girl friendly on the phone, she had such a friendly soul....you just could tell she loves to work there....knew instantly what I meant....had it on the computer in a heartbeat and amazingly...she spoke perfect English!!!! Wow!!! No rude attitude and just willing to listen....NICE....bet'ya she was good looking too....hahaa Ohhhhh, and did I mention that they had a killer price on upholstery leather in lovely earth tones....??!! Which I need in a hurry to upholster some furniture for my neighbor..... Oh well, guess as you all can read further down in this forum.....there will be NO more leather orders from ST Leather at my door steps.... I am going to call her again, just to enjoy her friendly soul..... Pull my hat Springfield leather, way to go....or should I say way to sell !!!!! James Most likely it was either Emma or J'ne that you dealt with. Both excellent, both know their product (unlike many people in retail today), and both go to great lengths (over & above the norm) to help their customers. 28ist Report post Posted November 1, 2011 I was in Springfield a couple of month ago on a job and stopped in just to check things out. I'd ordered from them in the past and wanted to see what the store was like. Hardwood floor, wood paneling, and the beautiful smell of tanned leather gave it an old country store feel. While they were very busy, every employee stopped to say hi and ask if I needed any help. I walked out a little lighter in the pocket and will definitely stop in again. Good people and good prices. JD50 Report post Posted November 30, 2011 I started out buying from the big "T" before I knew about Springfield Leather but most of my business will be going to Springfield now. I just received my second order from them a few days ago and I am very impressed. I placed my order online and the next day a man (sorry I didn't get his name or I'd give him a little publicity here) called me to find out how I wanted my leather cut. He really went out of his way to understand what I was planning to make and what I needed. The best part is when I received my order it was cut exactly the right way! James LOL This reminds me of a story. My brother used to frequent an industrial parts store during the course of his work as a Millwright. He had a buyer/vender with a sexy voiced vixen that had him all the men at the Mill all twitter-payted One day he needed a part asap but it was too late to send it out on the parts delivery truck so he ordered it on the phone and rushed into town to pick up the part. He made it to the parts store and was standing there waiting for his order when he heard her talking. He was all smiles when he turned to greet the face that matched the voice on the phone and was gutted when he discovered a grey haired "Granny" about 60 years old, who weighed about 300lbs. While the material has been shipped it hasn't yet arrived, but I was very pleased to get a personal email from Emma thanking me for registering and buying from them! Emma answered all my questions with no hesitation. She also helped me setup my account and Gold membership so I could place my first order online the same day with the qualifying discounts.
