Members singteck Posted June 18, 2008 Members Report Posted June 18, 2008 Just finish making this one. No metal parts but a lot more work. What do you think? I am wondering.... what type of closure do you prefer? Thank you. singteck Quote
Ambassador abn Posted June 18, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted June 18, 2008 I think that enclosure method is really nice. Kudos on a beautiful project! Keep those pics coming! Alex Quote

Ambassador Luke Hatley Posted June 18, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted June 18, 2008 simple but very funciational... i use that type of fastner on my journals.... keep them commong Quote Luke
TomSwede Posted June 18, 2008 Report Posted June 18, 2008 Very good looking pouch and good use of the stamping tools. Cunning use of the ropestamp close to the stitching grove, when viewed with the normal eye it looks like the stitching continues up over the flap wich gives a better overall look (I think). I agree with Alex and Luke on the enclosure and like to add for myself that often I get hung up over how hard it is to find the right hardware for these things and forget the obvious. Think I'll just print this post and hang it up over my workingtable. Contributing Member Jordan Posted June 18, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted June 18, 2008 I like it. There is something about a functional leather item without all the fancy hardware that makes it all the more special. Way to go. Quote
