Members DavidMillsSaddlery Posted November 27, 2011 Members Report Posted November 27, 2011 Hello! I have a 97-10 I just drug out of storage, and I'm looking for a a bobbin winder I can set up for it! I won't be using the wax thread, so the pot ain't needed! If someone does have the heater set up I might be interested if the price is right... (cheap) Is there any kind of manual bobbin winder a guy can use? Thanks David Quote
Members catskin Posted November 27, 2011 Members Report Posted November 27, 2011 I have never seen a 97-10 or the bobbin but the BUSM / Pierson have a manual / hand crank one, could you possibly rig one up that would work sort of the same. Maybe pulleys insead of gears. Quote

CowboyBob Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 We have one that will work that you can mount on a board & use a small motor & foot pedal off a household machine. Bob Quote

Members Springerpanhead Posted October 23, 2013 Members Report Posted October 23, 2013 If you have a lathe or a friend with one it's real easy to make an adapter to go on the shaft of one of those little hand cranked grinding wheels that clamp on a bench. They make a real fine bobbin winder. Cheap too! Quote
