Tandy only has patterns for S M L. Anyone know where to find one or have one??? I was hoping to find a full size pattern I could download that way I could have the pattern printed out in full size. They should have all kinds of patterns or you could go to Goodwill find a vest and take it apart to make your patterns or you can get Tandy's and add on to the pattern till it fits or you can look on ebay for a pattern. McJeep Report post Posted February 8, 2012 There is a pattern in here somewhere but I can't find it on board to give u the link (apparently I'm search challenged) It can be sized to whoever you need to make it for and all instructions are really good. I saved it and can email it to ya - it's in word format and includes drawings which layout the pertinent measurements and how to adjust the pattern. email me (rampantleather@shaw.ca) and I'll email the thing back to ya - unless someone can find it here and repost it to ya. Zyurelaie Report post Posted January 24, 2013 If you don't want to pay for a pattern and really want it to fit well there's another online forum much like this one that's called cutterandtailor.com. It's free and it's the largest source of out of copyright pattern drafts for suits shirts vests coats and trousers. These cutting systems are what we use to draft a custom suit draft for a customer and you are more likely to get a better fit the first time rather than messing around with the crappy home sewing patterns. STAY AWAY!!! Once you get the basics down you will never go back to a store bought clothing pattern again. It's cheaper it's easier and if you draw it out on something like Inkscape like I do it's a lot faster and takes up far less space. For someone like me who is constantly making coats and suits and corsets and tailoring dress blues that forum has been a HUGE resource with a very helpful community of other professionals.
