Members Rohn Posted January 21, 2012 Members Report Posted January 21, 2012 Its an ebook Reader Sold by amazon.com. Thank you Sir. I'm from the "Old School" but am learning every day. Quote
Members TexasJack Posted January 22, 2012 Members Report Posted January 22, 2012 The kindle is VERY cool! Books are cheaper (a lot of old ones are free), you can buy and download them almost instantly, the screen is very similar to a printed page (it doesn't put out light like a computer screen - it uses reflected light like a book), and you can carry 3500 books in one. As for the case, it happens that I was in an office supply place yesterday and they wanted like $50 for a pretty sorry looking basic case. I'm thinking that I need to sit down and start working up one for myself. Nice job on yours, hjett1! Quote
Members Cyberthrasher Posted January 22, 2012 Members Report Posted January 22, 2012 Can you post pictures of the inside? My wife's about to buy a new kindle touch and they want A LOT of money for less then 1 Sq Ft of pleather that's not even personalized. I need ideas on how to hold it in place. Quote
Members EngineCo1 Posted January 22, 2012 Members Report Posted January 22, 2012 Loks good. I too would like to see the inside please. Quote
Members hjett1 Posted January 23, 2012 Author Members Report Posted January 23, 2012 I will try and get a pic of the inside later. I used some thin black chap leather i had left over. I used some black elastic strips to hold the kindle in place. the case opens like a book. No need to ever take it out of the case. Quote
