Iron Pounder Report post Posted January 29, 2012 http://www.ebay.com/...=item19cc8f6131 Anyone use one of these of know anything about them? I see the same unit going from 85-almost 200. I want to put this on a Singer 31-15 to slow it down. I have heard some use the Servo pro500GR how do these units compare? I have been suing a Singer 66 with a hand crank so not used to using a machine that goes that fast.

I have been suing a Singer 66 with a hand crank so not used to using a machine that goes that fast. I don't know how the two motors compare but I have one of these on a walking foot sewing machine and the control is fine. I beleive the other machine has a built in speed reducer and the control would be better still. If motorized sewwing is new to you, go with a servo and speed reducer. My 2 cents worth. KAYAK45 Report post Posted January 30, 2012 Hi, Ken. Have no idea about that Servo. Maybe good, maybe not. I put the Servpro from Bob on my 31-15 and could not be happier! Good idea to look at the servo motor for your needs. Now do you want to be a PIONEER on E-BAY or just solve your problems, EH? Call Bob... or be a PIONEER..they have ARROWS in there backs? Your Call. A bit harsh wouldn't you say? Bob's motors are great, and nick o sew is also company with a good reputation. I'm sure their motors are fine too. my 2 cents.
