Looks great Bob, metal lined eh? That's gonna tear up your gun blue, isn't it?

No, the metall is betwin two layers of leather as extra support.

Bob,

I was thinking of the rig that I saw that belonged to Arvo Ojala. His holsters were metal LINED. His guns were a mess, but the man sure was fast!

Your rig looks really great, I have to try building one some time.

What did you use for the "metal" in the lining?

Great looking rig. I want one!

Wow, great rig --- I really like it tooled without the bullet loops...your tooling is sharp!

I am curious on why the back of the holster has a "T" ... is that to aid in stability on the draw? I have never seen that before.

Part of this post "dissapeared! Where did it go?

I know I got a response on the type of metal used for reinforcement.

Where did it go?

Anyway.... Thanks for the type of metal. Could you, please, be more specific about the gauge/thickness/measurement you use for a stiffener?

Kevin

PS: Where the hell is the spell check on here?

Very nice. For some reason I'm not a fan of basketweave on leather (don't really know why), but I have to admit yours is very nicely done, and yes, the borders I like.

I just found my way back to this site and this was one of the first threads I looked at, I'm very happy to have rediscovered this place. I never thought a rig looked complete without the cartridge loops but your rig looks fantastic.
