Members Boothill Bob Posted February 10, 2012 Author Members Report Posted February 10, 2012 Looks great Bob, metal lined eh? That's gonna tear up your gun blue, isn't it? No, the metall is betwin two layers of leather as extra support. Quote
Members johnj Posted February 10, 2012 Members Report Posted February 10, 2012 That is some nice work! Quote

Bob, I was thinking of the rig that I saw that belonged to Arvo Ojala. His holsters were metal LINED. His guns were a mess, but the man sure was fast! Your rig looks really great, I have to try building one some time. Dave Edited February 11, 2012 by David Quote
Members woodandsteel Posted February 11, 2012 Members Report Posted February 11, 2012 Really great looking rig! Nice work! Quote
KAYAK45 Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 What did you use for the "metal" in the lining? Great looking rig. I want one! Kevin Quote
Members Viking Posted February 21, 2012 Members Report Posted February 21, 2012 (edited) Wow, great rig --- I really like it tooled without the bullet loops...your tooling is sharp! I am curious on why the back of the holster has a "T" ... is that to aid in stability on the draw? I have never seen that before. Edited February 21, 2012 by Viking Quote
KAYAK45 Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 Part of this post "dissapeared! Where did it go? I know I got a response on the type of metal used for reinforcement. Where did it go? Anyway.... Thanks for the type of metal. Could you, please, be more specific about the gauge/thickness/measurement you use for a stiffener? Kevin PS: Where the hell is the spell check on here? Quote
Mrs Barry Hicks Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 really nice work. It's so clean it almost looks fake! Great job tooling. Quote

Members dikman Posted February 21, 2016 Members Report Posted February 21, 2016 Very nice. For some reason I'm not a fan of basketweave on leather (don't really know why), but I have to admit yours is very nicely done, and yes, the borders I like. Quote
Members Jon P Posted February 22, 2016 Members Report Posted February 22, 2016 Beautiful work!! Very clean... Quote
Members cazio Posted March 22, 2016 Members Report Posted March 22, 2016 I just found my way back to this site and this was one of the first threads I looked at, I'm very happy to have rediscovered this place. I never thought a rig looked complete without the cartridge loops but your rig looks fantastic. Quote
