David Report post Posted July 20, 2008 (edited) I finished lacing this last evening so, here is the poker chip seat all laced up and ready to have the stain applied. It's getting there, I should have it finished today. David Theobald Edited July 20, 2008 by Johanna merged threads

David Report post Posted July 20, 2008 boy you got that one done quick!!!!came out real nice david Hey Roger, I worked on this one from 6am on Saturday morning until after midnight. I really do not care for these bike shop deadlines. It is what I deal with all the time. Dave
Roger Report post Posted July 20, 2008 yea... i get it now and then.... they just don't understand that you really can't rush that level of detail. you may get it done on time but, it is a sacrifice to do it.

David Report post Posted July 27, 2008 Thanks Shirley, I got a call from them the day after it arrived at the shop.....The shop manager said it was supposed to be black! oops! LOL I told him, "I know, but it would have just looked so bad I couldn't do it!" ha ha just kidding....oh well, The shop manager said they were going to use it anyway. It is going on a very old school bike that is blue and cream colored so it should look great! Dave

David Report post Posted August 6, 2008 Great job. You can be proud as a peacock of that seat. Thanks Bree, I've got a couple of artsy seats buzzing around in my head.... one is a samurai and the other a Phoenix....a bird that closely resembles a peacock....... funny you should mention that.
