mlapaglia Report post Posted June 14, 2012 (edited) I had a request to make this one shiny. Im not fun of shiny but I wasn't making it for me 8/9 HO Vinegroon, Stitched with my Tippman Boss. 1 coat neatsfoot oil, 1 coat Leather balm and atom wax and 2 coats 50/50 water and resolene for that desired shine. This one went together with no problems for once. It's a variation of the tuckable version I did last week. I was happy with it and so was the customer. mlapaglia Report post Posted June 15, 2012 Thanks, I like it too. Tooling has its place but sometimes clean lines look really professional to me.

You --- and your customer should be very happy, BUT, somehow I feel that 'elegant' and 'Glock' together in the same sentence is an oxymoron -- Glocks IMO just be ugly.shooters. I carried a Glock 21 for a number of years --- but they still be ugly. LOL Mike
rickybobby Report post Posted June 15, 2012 Nice work! It's great when the planets line up and a holster goes out of the shop without turning into scrap leather! lol!! Very nice design. The title says it all! Simple and Elegant.

I do not allow my Son's Glocks to contaminate my S&W's. It is a matter of principle and I bought the safe I agree they have issues when it comes to looks. Its hard to beat classic elegance of a 1952 Pre-27 357 with a 5" barrel.

renegadelizard Report post Posted June 20, 2012 Damned well better NOT! I kind of like the glocks...they are very understated...kind of like soviet architecture...and who can argue the beauty of a place like Chernoble... Seriously though, i do find them to be among the best looking of the tupperware guns....now a baretta NEO...that is ugly....plain old fashioned bone deep ugly....the glocks just aint pretty... Gotta agree that the Beretta NEOS pistol is a strange looking duck. Being brought up on classic Colt and S&W wheel guns and autos, NONE of the tupperware shooters are good looking, and many seem to have raised the barrel height above the hand to such a degree that they just don't appear right to me. But Glocks --- still be ugly. Mike Edited June 21, 2012 by katsass
