Well, new to leatherwork. Recently divorced and looking to find something to fill in all the free time I have now (when my son isn't here), and tooling some leather seems to be a good filler. My brother and I are trying to get a bike business up and running (starting with my ground-up custom to replace the dyna I sold to buy my house a few years back). Anyhoo, was looking around on the net trying to find a seat I liked and thought, what the hay...leather is plenty cheap on ebay to play around with and who knows, I may enjoy it. Guess what, I do! Just as much fun as airbrushing, without all the mess.

Welcome!

You will get a bunch of help here. So much to learn reading others posts and trying new stuff. Look at the "supplies" section. A lot of info there for tools / leather and hardware.

Welcome aboard,

welcome and good luck on your future.

Riding is a partnership. The horse lends you his strength, speed and grace, which are greater then yours. For your part you give him your guidance, intelligence and understanding, which are greater then his. Togeather you can achieve a richness that alone neither can.

Welcome Hollerborn! You might just discover what most of experienced, it's not a freetime filler- it's totally overly alltime consuming;-)
