Contributing Member ClayB Posted September 1, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted September 1, 2008 (edited) I want to say "thank you" to everyone who has made a donation to help pay the expenses for running this site. Johanna says that there is enough money in the kitty to keeps things running for several months now. Your contributions are REALLY appreciated!!!!!!!!!!! Earlier today in the chat room we held a drawing. Johanna, Lindatt, and Crystal witnessed as my daughter drew a name out of a hat (come on, use your imagination here) And the winner of the drawing was................... Randy Scott. I'll try and get the picture in the mail sometime this week. Thanks again everyone for helping to keep this great site running!!!! Froghunter Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 <Applause can be heard in the back ground> CONGRATS JOSEPH!!! Maybe we can do something like this every quarter? Everyone that donates during that quarter gets in the drawing? Dunno, just a thought....... I'd even be willing to throw something out there as a prize (although if ya use it, donations may be down for that one!!! ) That way we keep it going........ I'd definately be in every quarter! Oh, and to all that do what they do here at LW.................Thank You! Quote ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pounding on dead animal flesh, who woulda Thunk it!
RandyScott Posted September 1, 2008 Report Posted September 1, 2008 Hi ClayB, Johanna and the rest of the Leatherworker.net community, This really is an unexpected pleasure as I truly made my contribution to support this site! The efforts of Johanna and 'others whom I don't know' have made this site possible. The freely given information to the 'newbies', such as myself, help to educate all forumites and help perpetuate this craft for I have received far more than I have given. Thanks again to those who made this site possible. Randy Quote Complacency Kills

Members iwannabeacowboy Posted July 23, 2009 Members Report Posted July 23, 2009 I know this is an old post, just thought i'd say thanks for a great forum. I find I spend to much time reading all the old posts. Lots of info to be found. And a big thanks to hidepounder for his edge finishing method. A one year subscription is a small price to pay for the improvement of my edges. Thanks to all for offering advise and the wisdom that you share. MADMAX22 Posted August 5, 2009 Report Posted August 5, 2009 (edited) THanks a bunch Johanna and if it wasnt for this place and putting the silly idea that I could make my own motorcycle seat into my head I would have never started leatherworking. Ofcourse now 2yrs later and a couple grand short Ive just cut the leather for my seat. Stupid leather junkies got me hooked too . Gotta get my donation in. Edited August 5, 2009 by MADMAX22 Quote
