Members Willis7737 Posted September 14, 2012 Members Report Posted September 14, 2012 I'm new to leather craft and love it. This is my third piece I've done after a key fob and small knife pouch. Please Please Please let me know if you have any tips, or critiques after looking at this. Thanks! Will Quote
Ambassador pete Posted September 14, 2012 Ambassador Report Posted September 14, 2012 Overall, not bad! Make you cuts deeper along with the beveling, ,ake the thumbprints more pronounced at the tips pf the leaves and taper towards the center, make a more definite line around the seeds, and crowd the seeds a little more. Your "finish" or decorative cuts need to be more flowing and meaningful, not just slashes. Again, off to a good start! pete Quote

Do you mean the initial place where the knife goes in? Thank you for the advice! I will keep this all in mind on my next piece. It sounds like I need some knife work.
