Recommended Posts

Do you guys have any experience with the Techsew GB6-180-2, 441 clone from Raphael Sewing in Montreal?? Cost delivered to the US is about $2,900 including customs duty.

I'm not certain what machine he's selling??Will the 441 feet fit on this machine?I have a 441 clone we sell too & all the 441 parts will fit on it,it comes in a 9,16 or 25" arm length.

We also stock different feet, needle plates, roller guides & etc.for this model.

I'm in Toledo,Oh & have them on the showroom floor.

Sorry Bob...

I didn't notice this reply. It slipped under my radar!

Yes it is a 441 clone and 441 feet should fit it.

I think you guys have the "Cowboy" line. Maybe you could email me info on your 16" and 25" models along with the pricing. My email is breeliz at verizon dot net. My preference is to buy from American sources as I don't really want to go abroad in case I need some service. Right now Artisan looks like a good alternative.

Thanks!

Hi Bree,

I am not sure you can classify the GB6-180-2 as a 441 clone. I am going to bet there are quite a few parts that do not interchange, especially in the head (takeup is on front not the side for example). The true 441 clone looks identical to the Juki 441, and everything interchanges.

Bree, thanks for your interest in Techsew machines.

The GB6-180-2 is not an exact clone of the Juki 441, it is closer to the Juki 471 which is a top and bottom feed machine, not a compound feed machine. The body and specifications of the GB6-180-2 are closest to those of the Consew 2050. It features 16.5" workspace and 22mm foot lift, and about 4" bed diameter, all like the Consew 2050. We ship 80% of our machines to the US (we're located just north of the border) so service/shipping is never a concern, also we provide full tech support to all customers.

In response to Bob, the feet from the 441 will not fit the GB6-180-2, however we stock ALL replacement parts and accessories for this machine as well as all of our machines, such as bobbins, hooks, feet (inside and outside), shuttles, needles, upper and lower tension assemblies and plenty more.

Anyways, didn't mean to dig up an old topic but just wanted to answer some questions as I just noticed the post.

Thanks!

Ron

Hi Bob,

Could you post pictures here of your attachments for the 441?
