Members jayjay Posted October 9, 2012 Members Report Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) Hello all, I just finished up this wallet for a customer its 4/5 herman oak all the way around zipper pocket with 6 card slots that I put together using a tip from Bifrost ( for the card slots) it worked out great it really keeps the thickness down. Members jmann8686 Posted October 10, 2012 Members Report Posted October 10, 2012 Very nice I like it. Would you be willing to share that tip for card slots with us. Cause I'm having a heck of a time with them Quote
Members LeatherLegion Posted October 10, 2012 Members Report Posted October 10, 2012 I am interested in that tip too...lol...I made few wallets with those particular slit / pocket but i had to stitch the actuall pockets that holds the cards on the back from sliding down. It came out thicker then i was hoping and i only had the pockets...This is the one Quote
Members Horrrk Posted October 11, 2012 Members Report Posted October 11, 2012 Real nice work there, Jayjay..that should last' em years.. Here's a link to the Bifrosts post which has the pocket tip, for those folks who missed it.. http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=42694&hl= Hope it helps.. Regards Phil Quote
Members jayjay Posted October 11, 2012 Author Members Report Posted October 11, 2012 Thanks folks Horrrk posted the link. It was really easy to do. I used either nylon or polyester on the inserts I'm not sure I just some had laying around the shop, I plan on taking a scrap piece to the fabric store to identify. I took the wallet to my barber aka customer and i sold 2 more wallets that day....I think I have found my interior........after so many different attempts. As always this forum has been an awesome resource so thanks again to everyone on here!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Members jayjay Posted November 5, 2012 Author Members Report Posted November 5, 2012 The material is nylon that is used for the pocket interiors to hold the cards... Quote
