electrathon Report post Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) I have a marble coaster that had cork in the middle. It has aged and got all grose so I had an idea. I had a rounder I made up for a class I did a few months back, trimmed it to size and it looks pretty good. hornm Report post Posted November 20, 2012 Great combo. The marble makes the leather stand out more in my opinion. Horn
electrathon Report post Posted November 21, 2012 Thank you everyone for the kind words. I do like the way the leather looks against the marble.
JD50 Report post Posted November 24, 2012 Aaron, That IS a good idea...which gives me an idea. I'm thinking a turned wood base with a tooled leather rounder might look nice. Hope you don't if I borrow you idea. JD
Stewart Report post Posted November 24, 2012 Now that right there is a awesome piece of tooling and a great way to off set the leather. Joe
